Located in Houston Texas Completed in 1983, Williams Tower stands at 2800 Post Oak Boulevard in Houston’s Uptown district. Designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, the 64-story skyscraper rises approximately 901 feet (275 meters). Originally known as Transco Tower, it became a defining landmark of Houston’s skyline outside downtown.

Its signature features are its stepped crown and rotating rooftop beacon, which sweeps light across the night sky. The tower’s glass exterior and strong vertical lines recall the proportions of classic Art Deco skyscrapers, reinterpreted in a monumental postmodern design.
